How Long More...

I'm so disappointed...
Well, not that disappointed too.
But disappointed.

After seeing that the Japanese classes
that I wanted to go for being updated
in the online schedule, I was elated
thinking that the number of students
for each class has finally hit the
minimum requirement.

But when I went there on Monday with Pepper,
each class only has about 6 or 7 students
(including Onion; minimum need 8 students).
When the receptionist told me that there is
a possibility that the class will be postponed
if there are still not enough people,
I feel like banging into the walls.
Not to mention that Onion has last minute
OT that day, and did not turn up that day.

But still, I registered, paid, and got
the books and notes for both E1&2.
At least I can start my self study
with those and the book I used for my
Japanese class in NYP.

I already started yesterday at work;
and at home. But not having a study
table like I used to have at home, makes
me fall asleep while reading on the bed.

I should really find a study place outside,
since I cant really study Japanese openly
at work as well. Especially with all
the people walking around me.

I wont wait any longer

Over the weeeeekend

Saturday was a out-all-day. Literally.
And a super EAT-all-day too.
Pepper and I named it 全岛吃透透~!

Woke up at 830 in the morning.
Went for RotiPrata at KouFu downstairs
with BenBen. No RotiJohn yet!@_@
ARGH!! It was supposed to
be the main thing lahx.

Went to meet Pepper as Benben
went back home to ZzzZzzZz...
Reading her Jap TB while waiting
for her bf to go for his appt.
Wasnt long, compared to the time
they spent there...

Pepper was really hungry but she
loved me so and suggested we go for
Kinokuniya first. Found the book I
was looking for (the new version),
but there are so many freaking versions
and it's all super expensive. FAINT.

We went wandering around for cutecute
pens and stationeries, but Kino's just
too expensive. But I went all crazy over
the fountain pens again. I even went back
and tell Benben to get me a pink one with
my name for my birthday. LOL!

Lunch-ed at Cineleisure PastaMania.
Had a potato salad with lots and LOTS
of cheese powder, and half a garlic bread.
Super bloated. Pepper even got FamousAmos.

Trio walked to DhobyGhaut where the bf left.
Pepper and me went for OysterMeeSua and chicken!
Took quite a long time to finish lo...
After which, was the walk again.

Stroll around Carrefour, before walking toward
Marina Square. So we got something to drink;
somewhere to sit at Cinylink, while waiting
for Pep's DaJie to arrive. I was so tempted
to buy the bread there lehhhh. =X

We went to grab my pink Usagi Earphone
before heading to QiJi for dinner.
Pepper ordered MeeSiam and PoPiah!
Knowing that she definitely cannot finish,
I just picked on hers.

After talking, walking, watching Hanabi,
we went to Paya Lebar for Smelly Tofu.
I went to buy some clothes and groceries
before that. Pep's bf came to meet us there.

Smelly Tofu x 2 for me and DaJie.
Fried Mushroom & Soft Shell Crab Piah.
Everyone was stuffed, and I was still
munching away happily~ Even Dabao 4 for family.

+I need to work extra hard to get rid of those calories+

Sunday was Rika's Curry day again.
Nobody remembered that I actually made
the very same thing before. Everyone came
to me with the same questions and comments.
Even Benben 'cannot remember' eating it before.

I've got evidences!

+Dont everyone just love curry?+

Love of my Life

Klunch, Shopping, Movie, Dinner.
Just how Ginger love her beautiful Saturday.
Today's highlight is Kinokuniya!
After learning that Pepper's 'textbook'
is actually the photocopy of
the real book "Nihongo No Kiso",
I wanna get the book.

Though I'm quite worried that we
might not be able to find the exact
version the Japanese school is using
(because it's too old). There is already
this "Shin Nihongo No Kiso", and
they are still using the old one.

No matter which version they have,
I am going to get it anyway.

Being such a big fan of Klunch Cineleisure,
it is just natural for me to think of going
for another Klunch session before our
main mission. When I told Pepper that
I was going to invite the rest of SPICES,
she went, "Stop wasting your sms!". Hahax.
I can see that she's still angry at me
asking Garlic and Onion to join the Japanese class.

Let's just hope miracles will happen and there will
be more than two people in the Klunch room.
Let's pray that we will be able to find the book too!

Japaaaaaanese

A week since my last update!
Well I have been a little busy
with my other Japanese blog.
Take a look here!
http://ameblo.jp/babyginger/

I am definitely, absolutely,
certainly making it a
100% Japanese blog.
So there wont be any posts in English.
But I really like everything there
(apart from the Japanese part).
The icons and all are so cute~~~
(and you can have pink cute skins without much effort)

Now, let's update my lovely readers about
the Japanese class I mentioned in the last post.

Monday 19.07 - Went to Pepper's school and
sat in her class. It was the last lesson so
they did revision. Sad to realise that there
are some things/concepts/grammar (about 5% - 10%?)
that I dont know/wasnt taught. Makes me
wanna take both E1 and E2 courses together.

I even found the perfect classes to join/form.
E1 - Every Tues and Fri, 630pm to 8pm, start 03.08($190)
E2 - Every Mon and Wed, 630pm to 8pm, start 16.08($220)

I dont have to worry about classes crashing. BUT!

I have opposing voices. Both Pepper and Benben
thinks that taking E1 is a total waste of $$ for me.
Since I "know everything". When I explain that
there are some that I dont, both of them
answered with almost the same mind.

Benben: 10% only. You can go borrow the notes/book
from your friend and study mahx.
Pepper: I can lend you my notes and book lahx.
Dont waste money.

But I still think that it would be good revision
for me to take E1. Even Onion was so decisive
(probably taking E1 & E2 with/without me).
Well, the decision is all mine.
I'm still sooooo confused,
since I've got my stand,
and they've got their point too.

-Or at least, I am.-

JLPT, Here I Come!

I'm so excited that I can't sit still.
Pepper's E1 Japanese lesson is finally
coming to an end. Last lesson on 19.07.2010,
and her test on 21.07.2010(~on Salt's bdae~)
I would say that I have been bugging her
since she told me about her taking up the lessons.
I so wanted to join her immediately!

But now the plan is to register for E2 together.
I will be with her next Monday to register
and pay for the course
first, even though
they still do not have enough people to
start the class immediately
. At the
same time, get all details I want since
Pepper never seems to be able to answer my questions.

I DONOT wanna wait anymore.
So I strongly urge all my friends to
join me for this course!

So far, from the bits and pieces from Pepper,
I believe that they may have a E2 class,
starting somewhere in August,
every Monday 8pm to 10pm.
Bot of us hopes that we can have
lessons twice a week, maybe 630pm to 8pm.
That way, we can finish the course faster too.

Feel free to ask me anything about this lessons.
Or you can visit their webby too~!

I'm even thinking of setting up
another blog of a Japanese-based,
and just use Japanese there.

Mold him anyway

I woke up in the middle of the night,
hearing Daven's cry. In the midst of
rattling, I believe they were trying to
get some water down his throat. But
he keep spitting them out.

"谁教他这样的?" The familiar voice emerged.
"How can you like that?" More to Daven this time.
(Skip the language since it can be a post long)

You, of course.
Teaching him to "rinse" his mouth
in a spitting way. It's not difficult
to confuse between the "rinsing" mouth
water to the drinking water.

Part of post removed.
Read more here..
