According to my mom, one of her friends often visit Mental Hospital, as he/she gives the patients there free hair cut.
During one of his/her visits, the nurse was testing whether the patients were mentally sound enough to be discharged. She took a torchlight, and shone it on the celling, then asked them what it was.
"Wow~! Marie Biah" one of them exclaimed Note: Marie biah is a type of biscuit, round and with dots on it. Biah simply means biscuit.
"Eh sai jia buay? (can eat one notx?)" the other turned and asked the nurse.
"eh sai eh sai~ (can can~)" the nurse told them.
"ah ni gue, an zhua gia eh tio (so tall how can reach?)"
"aiya. gia lou tui pek tio gia eh tio lo~!" (aiya. climb ladder den can get liaox lo~!)
"siao~! ah ni gue, gia buay tio eh lahx~!" (siao~! so tall, cannot get one lahx~!)
In the end, the one who believe he can get it by a ladder remain in the hospital, while the one who say it's impossible got discharged. Irony?
