Totally Overwhelmed |
I guess somehow I knew this would happen. I am totally overwhelmed by all the things I wanna do, and try doing. Maybe maintaining one blog is more than enough to keep me busy. Well, with all the card designing and planning, sometimes amigurumi making and designing, once in a while electric drumming away, I have way too many activities to be done than I have time.
So I am here to give the official excuse, that I will not be able to update this blog every week. I will still update this blog once in a while, I suppose. Provided if I have the time and topic to talk about.
Well then, I shall share some updates while I can now. Have been about three weeks since we don't have a car. Got used to taking public transport almost immediately for me, and kinda realized that it isn't as crowded as it used to be.
The husband bought an electric scooter just before the car was killed. So he's pretty much scooting, hitching colleagues' car, and taking bus. Still contemplating if we should get one more of the scooter (probably a smaller one) so we can ride together on weekends and maybe me riding to work on weekdays.
With Chinese New Year just a week away, there are still so many issues unsettled and our family (which consists of only me and the husband, hahaha) has not done any preparation. I repeat, has not done ANY preparation. So let's just have a nice CNY with whatever we wanna do or eat~

New Additions to My 'Ever-Growing' Tools |
So happie to be introducing the new addition of the family (of tools) -
The Paper Cutter and the Glue Tape!
Had been contemplating the purchase for quite some time, and finally bought it, with the Glue Tape, despite its manufacture origin. It's not exactly easy to have a whole collection of pink stationery, but at least I'm making an effort.
Have already started playing with the Paper Cutter, making strips of scraps for gift-wrapping or just for cutting cards. Totally love it. Though it would be so much better if the spare parts are more accessible. Gonna keep hunting still!

Christmas Giftsssssss |
Christmas Christmas Christmas~~
Last year's Christmas came and ended early for us, because our one-and-only 'Christmas Party' (at Watten Estate) was in mid December.
Gift Exchange and the gifts from Meiwen. Love 90% of the gifts I received, with the 10% going to the shrinkable pen (from Tokyu Hands) which I didn't (bother to) include in this photo.
Meiwen loves adding on to my My Melody collections; love her. Makes me look forward to moving into our new office, and bringing lunch from home everyday with the bentou box (hopefully). And the pencil is simply a savior for the one she bought me before broke a long long time ago! Moreover it's improved version and made in Japan! (The previous one was MIC =X)
Loves the Kitkat too! Picked it simply it was wrapped in really cute pink polka dots paper. Haven't started 'working' to emptying it though.
The highlights of the Gifts - Instax Share SP-2! With the husband working hard on GrabHitch, the money was spent on useless, stupid thing like this! Hahax. Not to mention that he bought himself a e-scooter too.
Shall be playing with my new toy, and maybe, if I got more familiar with it, I can even consider selling the printing service! XD

Yellow is the new Pink II - Pompompurin Cafe Singapore |
Woohoo~ As we are counting down to the new year, let's reminisce on the great things that happened as well.
Some weeks back, we decided to head for Pompompurin Cafe! Can you believe that we didn't have a clue that they have an outlet here in Singapore? Until we saw one in HongKong and decided to ask my best friend, Google, about it. Anyway we didn't go for the one in Hongkong as they ran out of the souvenir cups at that time.
Even the entrance is so cute and adorable! Anyway, while we were heading up on the escalator, there was this couple right behind us. Probably because I stopped at the Pompompurin Goods Display on the way up, they figured we were heading for the cafe. So they rushed in to the queue even though they were behind us on the escalator.
I already had a hunch that they were probably heading the same place as I was, so it didn't really bother me. Since everyone just wanna have a nice time there and two persons won't make much of a difference on the waiting time too. So I entertained myself with ordering, I mean requesting, the husband to take lots of pictures around. The promotion stand, the menu and even the wall. Hahaha.
The queue wasn't bad at all. We got in after like 20 or 30 minutes of waiting. The interior was crazy cute too. Chairs, lights, walls and everything with Pompompurin. They also have this Friends House which looks really cozy for an introvert person like me, but we didn't get to sit there. Oh, did I mention the dirty Pompompurin plush sitting next to me? xD
Food was really yummy-yummy! I didnt really expect the food to be good actually. But the Mentaiko Pasta on the seasonal menu was fantastic! The rice was cute, but not that nice though. The dessert, Pancake Tower, was sweeeeeeeet. I was still complaining on how MUCH syrup they gave (in the Pompompurin cup). But it was really sweet and everything turned out great. *nomnomnom*
We had such a great feast that we even cracked open Pompompurin's head and ate its brain.
